Childhelp® exists to meet the physical, emotional, educational, and spiritual needs of abused, neglected and at-risk children. We focus our efforts on advocacy, prevention, treatment, and community outreach.

About Child Help River Bridge

The Childhelp River Bridge Center in Glenwood Springs utilizes a highly effective, one-stop approach to the investigation and treatment of child abuse. The child-friendly environment and team approach with law enforcement, medical and child protective services officials, increases efficiency while minimizing the trauma to the child. The state-of-the-art facility houses law enforcement, child protective services, medicine, mental health, and prosecution-all of whom work together as a comprehesive, multi-disiplinary team to reduce further trauma to the child while, at the same time, strengthening the investigative process. Specifically designed to drastically minimize the trauma of a child abuse investigation, River Bridge's child friendly decor reassures victims and non-offending family members and provides a sense of safety and security throughout the investigation process. Additionally, the Center's on-call system provides 24-hour emergency access to team members, allowing for after-hours service for crisis cases.

Ace Hardware of Carbondale donates 75 cents from the sale of each 3 ounce bag of Jelly Belly candy directly to the Childhelp River Bridge Center in Glenwood Springs each month. In June, we donated $109.50 thanks to your purchases bringing our total donation through June to $2,440.25.
